I thought it would be neat to take Stefan's pictures where he has some history.
I 'm praising the Lord his history didn't land in him jail for trespassing although
when we first moved to town we did get a call from the local police.
Did my kids not get somewhere along the line that you don't just randomly wander onto property
just because you want an adventure? City life is different than country life.
He looks all cowboy!
My favorite but he's not mad as some suggested. He just can't smile on demand.
There's a seriousness about him and deep thought. I know this look well.
Ahh, yes, history....we looked in the windows down below.
I gotta say, I'd be tempted to go in too.
I don't want anything but to be surrounded by "what was" and "what was left behind" and wonder
at the conversations that took place that linger among the walls.
It's really interesting to learn the history of buildings in small towns.
At the tracks....
I thought it would be neat to take the guitar with us as a prop.
If I had known what was "down the tracks" for me...I wouldn't have.
Graduation brought new paths for all of us. It's a time of letting go. Totally.
It's giving advice and not keeping track to see if it was followed or being upset if it isn't.
It's finding your way. Learning what to hold on to and what to let go of.
Knowing you did what God told you to do in bringing up those kiddos
and trusting Him as He fills in the gaps.
The Creator will write His own "God Story" in our son's life.
This song rings in my heart as Stefan's journey begins.
It is based on Philippians 1:6
He who began a good work in you
Will be faithful to complete it
He'll be faithful to complete it
He who started the work
Will be faithful to complete it in you
If the struggle you're facing
Is slowly replacing your hope
With despair
Or the process is long
And you're losing your song
In the night
You can be sure that the Lord
Has His hand on you
Safe and secure
He will never abandon you
You are His treasure
And He finds His pleasure in you
Will be faithful to complete it
He'll be faithful to complete it
He who started the work
Will be faithful to complete it in you
If the struggle you're facing
Is slowly replacing your hope
With despair
Or the process is long
And you're losing your song
In the night
You can be sure that the Lord
Has His hand on you
Safe and secure
He will never abandon you
You are His treasure
And He finds His pleasure in you
