Downtown

While in GA., I took a trip into Atlanta to walk around downtown. Riding the MARTA was a whole new experience for me. Seriously, I wouldn't have been able to do it alone. This country girl obviously hasn't been to town enough. LOL
My favorite photo was this escalator. It was steep and seemed about four stories tall.
What are the chances that in the middle of the day no one would be around and I would have
the all clear for this photo? Amazing.

Just above Atlanta Underground is a great brick road. I love brick roads.

It was a cool dreary day. So thankful it wasn't blazing Hotlanta!

Homeward bound...this cutaway lends a different view.

Lay it Down...Remember

people like me run around with their camera in hand, in a bag or around your neck. I love, love, love capturing moments. Poses are fun but it's those priceless moments captured that bring a sense of awe to my heart.
The last two weeks have been just that...moments of awe for the heart.
My camera was laid down and I had to rely on the senses of my soul to remember most of my moments. It's the old fashioned way, the way it was before cameras. It was before technology brought us a digital world to easily erase those moments that weren't clear enough.
I will probably document with pen and paper the things that stand out so prominently. There are moments so sweet no camera could contain them no written word will due justice and we rely on the heart to recall. We lay down the camera, put down the pen and remember the deep feelings of the soul.
